Event Logistics
Our second Philabowl is happening on Saturday April 6, 2024 from 11:30 to 2:30 pm at The Clay Studio. Please know:
- The event is rain-or-shine. All attendees will check in with staff either outside the pavilion or in the shop depending on the weather.
- All our handmade bowls will be displayed on tables for you to pick on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you fall in love with a second or third bowl, there is a possibility of buying - numbers are limited - additional bowl(s) on the day of - $25 per bowl!
- We are asking you to please bring a bag to carry your wrapped bowl(s) home! We are trying to make the event as sustainable as possible.
- There are no wash stations and the bowls have not been washed out of the kilns; we do not recommend using them for food until they have been washed.
- All of our delicious generously donated food is samples of light fare from local chefs. There is an ingredient list up at each station for notice of any possible allergy related information.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to, Tunde Peters, Development Assistant at tpeters@theclaystudio.org or Chase Pendleton, Development Manager at cpendleton@theclaystudio.org.

Ordinarie Heroes
Half of the proceeds from this year’s PhilaBowl support Ordinarie Heroes. Ordinarie Heroes addresses educational and health disparities in historically marginalized communities in order to break the cycle of systemic disadvantage and create a brighter narrative for young people. The IE in their name stands for I'm Enough because we believe every day, 'ordinary' people can make a difference.
