Philadelphia Open Studio Tours, a program of The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, is the largest tour of artist studios and creative workspaces in the region and one of the premier open studio tour events in the country.
Each October, POST activities span twenty unique Philadelphia neighborhoods and highlight the creative workspaces of nearly 300 artists and community partners. No other program in or around Philadelphia consistently brings such an intimate and diverse cultural experience to the community free of charge and across such a large geographic area.

PNC Arts Alive is a multi-year, multi-million dollar initiative of the PNC Foundation, which receives its principal funding from The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. The goal of PNC Arts Alive is to help area residents gain access to the arts and to help arts organizations expand and engage audiences.
“We’re grateful to PNC for believing in the work we do to promote the ceramic arts in our community and for providing us with the funding through PNC Arts Alive that makes the Hands On Clay program possible,” says Christopher R. Taylor, President of The Clay Studio. “To be selected as a grantee is a real honor, placing us in an elite group of innovative thinkers with the common goal of increasing arts access. ”

Since 1972, the GPCA has played a key role in ensuring the health and vitality of the city's arts and culture, and believes that our cultural organizations, artists, and proud history of creative expression are a crucial part of our identity, vitality, and economic growth. The GPCA believes in supporting the growth of arts organizations and their audiences; working to keep the arts in schools; preserving the diverse cultural activities in our communities; and empowering arts and cultural organizations to make a difference in our neighborhoods.
