Design & Engagement Questions

Some of the questions explored during the gathering where: How is people experiencing their visit to the gallery? For how long? How frequently? Why are they coming to this new space? I would love a place to... How many people are they coming with? Alone or in a small group? What types of interactions would they like to have with people when they visit or spend time in the gallery? What is going to keep audiences coming back again and again?

Needs and Priorities

#1 Key Function - Seating Area A- Seating to accommodate comfortable time spent contemplating and discussing. These benches need to be evergreen for all exhibitions going forward. B- Place for books that visitors are welcome to read in the gallery C- Place for an display that is playing interviews with artists and Council Members #2 Key function of space - Wayfinding to Community Studio Signage in the seating area directing people to the Community Studio.
