Made at The Clay Studio is a group exhibition featuring the work of all
of our Guest-Artists-in-Residence for the past year. Participating artists
include Mia Fernandes, (England), Louise Radochonski (USA), Patty Wouters
(Belgium), Jae Won Lee (Korea/USA), Andreya Vivaldi (Italy/USA). All of the
work exhibited was made at The Clay Studio where each artist worked for a period
of two months.
The is a vital
part of the mission of The Clay Studio, providing invaluable opportunities for
cultural exchange and dialogue. Since its inception, the program has hosted
artists from over 35 countries, providing them the opportunity to explore their
creative expression in a new and different environment. Artists who are accepted
into the program are provided studio space, living space, a monthly stipend,
materials, technical support and this exhibition opportunity. For many, it has
provided their only chance to explore a new part of the world, and to live and
work in a creative environment vastly different than their own.
