Burns, Frimkess, Makins: Contrast & Continuum was organized by and held at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. This exhibition was part of a series produced in response to Clay in Philadelphia '92, a city-wide celebration of ceramic arts sponsored by The Philadelphia Ceramic Consortium and administered by The Clay Studio. The exhibition showcased contemporary ceramic art by four master ceramicists of the nineties; Mark Burns, Michael Frimkess in collaboration with Magdalena Frimkess, and James Makins.
