Sebra Debrecht was born and raised in Dallas, TX. From 2010-2014 she attend the Kansas City Art Institute receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts & Art History. After graduating, she moved to Philadelphia to join the work exchange program at The Clay Studio (2014-2016). Currently she is working on her post-baccalaureate at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP.
In the summer of 2013, Sebra studied abroad at the International Ceramics Studio (ICS) in Kecskemet, Hungary, where she worked with herend porcelain to develop new techniques and along side established artists. As well, she as been honored to receive the Copaken Scholarship from the KCAI ('13) & Auctionette Scholarship from Anderson Ranch ('16) to attend two two-week long workshops at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO.
