Sara Gallo is a Philadelphia based ceramic artist and educator. She received a BFA in painting from The University of the Arts, and earned her MFA in ceramics from The Ohio State University. In addition to teaching at The Clay Studio for many years, she has been an instructor at The Mainline Art Center, The University of the Arts, University City Arts League, and The Ohio State University.
Sara has been a resident artist at Guldagergaard in Denmark, and has exhibited stateside and internationally. She maintains a studio in the Fishtown neighborhood.
