My introduction to clay began almost 50 years ago. The ability to see and feel form take shape under my hands left a passion for exploration of the medium. Although away from clay for a number of years, I am once again renewing an old friendship. I work in a number of mediums: wood, paint, and assemblage. But, clay draws me back to that familiar place from so long ago. I find myself looking at my surroundings and see shapes, colors, and textures in clay. My relationship with clay allows me to glean from the past, work in the present, and dream of the future.
