It was a wonderful experience to be part of a creative community while I was on a research leave from teaching for a semester. I also loved the fact that I could be an associate and take classes - I took the slip casting class and it really helped me push my work in a new direction!
Unfortunately, with two young kids my art-making development came to a halt but I dream of building up a studio at home soon. Right now I am teaching design studios.
